Mellow Maui Destination Wedding: Victoria & Matt
Inspired by their love of the Hawaiian islands, the ocean, and a desire to create a true vacation for their guests, Victoria and Matt were able to bring together this elegantly intimate destination wedding. When asked about their inspiration, Victoria explained “I wanted to let the true beauty of the surroundings shine…”, which they created flawlessly with a stylish mint and lavender color palette and beachy details, captured beautifully by Zach Mathers of Pacific Dream Photography.
“I think what made our wedding so special is that the wedding was all about everyone having a great time. It was a vacation for all of our guests.  Both Matt and I wanted a small and intimate wedding so we could spend quality time with each and every guest.  We had many events throughout the week and were able to hang out with all our guests for several days.  It felt great hosting so many friends and family in Hawaii.”Â
On her show-stopping backless gown from Katie May, “It was one of the first few dresses I tried on, and I knew instantly this dress was the one the moment I put it on. It was so elegant and casual. I  thought it’d be a perfect dress for a beach wedding in Hawaii.”

Stay true to what you really want.  It is your wedding and no one else’s.
Give yourself enough time to plan the wedding.Â
You can never have the wedding perfectly planned.  There will be changes last minute. Don’t stress and have fun with it.Â
