St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails That are Festive and Easy
We love any excuse for a party and the month of March is no exception. St. Patrick’s Day offers the perfect opportunity to invite your friends over for some leprechaun-approved fun. In fact, the best part of planning a festive St. Patrick’s Day party is nailing down all of the fun details (like those green cocktails!) We’re getting in the spirit with three of our very favorite recipes, which we’re happy to share with you! Cheers!
Sparkling Emerald Rain
Unlike many green cocktails you’ll find that often feature Midori, Creme de Menthe, or Apple Pucker, this light and fruity cocktail gets its color from mixing blue Hypnotiq and orange juice. The result is equal parts refreshing and boozy (so be sure to pace yourself!)
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Hpnotiq
- 1 ounce vodka
- 1 ounce orange juice
Instructions:
Shake ingredients in a shaker and pour over ice. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with a four-leaf clover apple slice (left) or a rainbow sour candy belt (right).

St. Patrick’s Prosecco
This sparkling sipper is totally effortless (and who doesn’t love a glass of bubbly?) Add a touch of shimmer with green sprinkles or opt for gold sugar with a rainbow skewer.
Ingredients:
- Green food coloring
- Prosecco
- Green sprinkles or sugar to garnish
Instructions:
Rim the glass with green sprinkles. Carefully fill the glass with your favorite Prosecco. Add a drop or two of green food coloring to achieve your desired color.

Ginger Beer Shandy
We’d be thrilled to find these golden pints at the end of the rainbow, and if you’re hosting a full-day affair, lighter alcohol drinks will be much appreciated.
Ingredients:
- Ginger beer
- Modelo (or other golden-colored beer)
- Lime
Instructions:
Fill a glass ⅔ full with beer of your choice (we chose Modela for it’s crisp flavor and golden coloring). Fill the remaining ⅓ with ginger beer. Finish with fresh lime.
