Inspired by the timeless checkerboard patterned floors that have appeared in architecture since the first century, the black and white check motif has popped up over and over again through the ages. Turned forty five degrees and used as a frame, this motif feels upscale and fashion forward when accented by a fine frame of gleaming metallic gold or silver. The informal but jazzy type hints at art deco stylings but with an easy, casual vibe setting the tone for a wedding celebrating the union of a modern couple.
